2. Use of the Platform

• Users can browse the entire website as guest users without signing in.
• For unauthenticated users, we only store their cart items locally on their device (local storage). Once the user logs in, these items are synced to their cart in the database.
• For registration, we collect name, mobile number, email, password, delivery address (flat, floor, building, street), and registered society name (for society users).
• Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials and ensuring accurate account information.
• You must be at least 13 years old to use this Platform.

3. User Accounts and Data

• Users can update, modify, or delete their account and information at any time.
• Verified mobile number and email address cannot be changed once registered.
• Users may reset or update their passwords using the "Forgot Password" feature.
• We may store session tokens in local storage or session format to ensure seamless browsing and authenticated API access.
• By using this Platform, you consent to such session storage.
• We reserve the right to deactivate or suspend accounts found in violation of our usage policies, misuse, or fraudulent activity.

4. Products and Services

• Jain & Iyer offers a range of home-delivered food and grocery products to both society and individual customers.
• All products, pricing, and availability are subject to change without notice.
• Images shown are for representation purposes only; actual product appearance may vary slightly.
• We make every effort to ensure accurate product descriptions and details, but errors may occasionally occur.

5. Shipping & Delivery Policy

• Society Users: Deliveries are made as per each society's pre-scheduled delivery days and time slots. Orders must be placed before the society's lock period.
• Individual Users: Currently, deliveries are available across Mumbai and Mumbai Suburban regions only.
• Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary due to external factors such as traffic, weather, or operational constraints.
• You will receive confirmation and tracking details once the order is dispatched.
• If delivery fails due to incorrect address or unavailability of the customer, re-delivery may incur additional charges.

6. Order Cancellation & Refund Policy

• Society Users: Orders can be cancelled up to 30 minutes before the society's delivery schedule lock period.
• Individual Users: Orders can be cancelled only before dispatch.
• In case of wrong item delivery, product damage, or payment mismatch, customers will receive full support for refunds, returns, or replacements based on the situation.
• Refunds will be processed through Razorpay (our payment partner) and credited to the original payment method within 7 working days.
• No cancellations are accepted once an order has been delivered.
• Refunds for prepaid orders cancelled due to non-availability or unforeseen operational issues will be processed automatically.

7. Payment Terms

• All online payments are processed securely via Razorpay.
• We do not store your credit/debit card, UPI, or banking details.
• Payment confirmation will be sent via email/SMS after successful transaction.
• In case of failed or declined payments, the order will not be processed.
• For Cash on Delivery (if enabled), customers must provide accurate delivery details and ensure timely payment on receipt.
• Any suspected payment fraud or misuse will be reported to the relevant authorities.

8. User Rights and Responsibilities

• Users are expected to provide accurate and up-to-date information.
• Any misuse of the Platform, including fraudulent orders or unauthorised access, may result in suspension or termination of account.
• The Platform must not be used for unlawful, misleading, or harmful activities.
• Users are responsible for maintaining the security of their devices and local storage data.

9. Intellectual Property

• All content, images, product descriptions, and logos displayed on Jain & Iyer are the exclusive property of the business or its licensors.
• No user may copy, reproduce, or distribute any content without prior written permission.

10. Limitation of Liability

• Jain & Iyer shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Platform, products, or services.
• While we strive to maintain accurate information, occasional errors in pricing, availability, or description may occur.
• Our liability in any case shall be limited to the value of the product purchased.
